Finding a job is not as easy as you think

Jobs are still quite few and far between, although industries are picking up again following the recession and starting to expand meaning they are looking for more members of staff. With many people using time out of work to further their qualifications, you may find yourself up against a number of people more qualified than yourself. You should not be put off by this as sometimes experience can be worth more than a qualification and if you can sell yourself on your CV and then in an interview, some employers will be happy to hire you.

Signing up to agencies, uploading your CV on a number of jobs boards and even going in to businesses and dropping off a CV all improved your chances of getting a job. It may take a little time, but the more you apply for the more chance you have of finding one that is suitable.
