Training to return to work in your chosen career

Maybe you have decided that it is time to return to work. It may be that you have been off sick for quite some time or that you have been on maternity or even you may have just returned from travelling or taking a year out. Whatever your reason for returning to work, you should explore the training that may be offered to support you in a new role. There are certain government schemes that will help you find a job and if you are under the age of 30, there is even more support – financial and academic available. They can assist you with CV writing and job applications, interview techniques and the first few weeks in your new job. They also are sometimes able to offer training if you require it to allow you the chance to work. Have an idea of what type of industry or job role you wish to work in and speak to your local Job Centre to see if they run any such schemes in your area.
